Too much Pag oil for A/C?

I'm working on a 1990 Burb with rear AC
The compressor froze on me so when I replace the compressor, I'll convert it to R134
I'll also replace the accumalator, expansion tube and all the seals, after I flush out the system
The book I have says it needs 9oz of oil spread out thru the system
If I add too much, will I do any harm?
Anything else I should do?
