I am looking at several C1500's in the 89-94 range, and was wondering if it's possible to EASILY install 5.25 - 6.5" speakers int he doors of these trucks?

Also, I have seen reference, but no guides on this - so curious - how would one go about swapping out the 1995 dash and gauges, and door panels into one of the older trucks?

I am looking at these trucks as they are the one's in my budget range locally - would rather just GET a 95 or newer truck, but cannot afford one.

I own a 88 GMC and a 96 Silver-oddo ..........

I really think if the interior is that important find a 95 or newer .

Changing the door panels would be sort of easy .

The DASH would be a MAJOR undertaking , NOT worth the money or time !
UNLESS you are planing to for this to be a forever truck !

The problems are endless ! NOTHING is the same !
Air conditioner controls being the hardest to switch over !
IF you find a dash find one with out air bags !
