Exclamation Can you add rear defrost?

This may sound dumb but im basically looking into what features the LT has that my LS doesnt and rear defrost is one of them. Can this be added? Or would it be like a super pain in the butt to do. I just think it'd be cool to have for all the times i come out and my windows are frozen in the morning. Plus i've also looked into adding heated mirrors and i guess the heated mirrors come on with the rear defrost so...how hard is it to add you think?(if its even possible)

my LS came with rear defrost..but i think in order to convert it youd need a a new entire back glass..plus all the wiring and finding new heater/ac/defrost controls.it could probably be done but would definatly be a pain in the a**

Oh its on the temp. controls? i thought it was a button to the right. What goes in the slot next to the airbag control thing then? I know the long top piece is for onstar, and then one is the airbag thing, whats the other little slot(thought thats where defrost was).

i think i may have confused myself..you may already have a button for it.and if you have the button you may already have the wiring.does it light up or anything when you push it?i think the way rear defrost works is with the little lines you see in some back glasses.they adjust the temp. in the glass to defrost it.so if you have the button and the wiring already you may just need the back glass.i hope all this didnt confuse you!haha

yeah your probably right. I still kinda want to see if it can be done though heh. Is the defrost lines inside the glass or is it just stuck on?
