    1. By hand, gently remove the dash trim piece that is left of the steering wheel.
    2. Remove the light control switch and dimmer switch, they are just held in with clips.
    3. There are two unused cables connected to the back of the trim piece, these are the ones you will be using for your DIC controller.
    4. Plug the clips into the DIC module in your new panel.
    5. That's it, you're done.
wow if i knew it was that easy this would have been the very first mod i would have done to my truck... now i gotta wait for some money to flow lol cant wait
    thanks for the info steve

Yeah, it's maybe the fastest mod that you will ever do.

People keep ordering these but we SOLD OUT of our stock after just a few days and are now in a backorder state. If you choose to order to take advantage of this price, we can't make a promise-to-ship date. However, we're working on finding other pieces in the network.

I received my DIC this evening.

Literally, I went outside and installed it on my (wife's) 2009 2500HD WT and it was so easy to install, that I spent more time playing with it after I was done, than I spent installing it!

Thanks again Steve for arranging the group buy!

    Way to go!

This is great, let's get some photos and if anyone wants to do a STEP-BY-STEP installation guide with photos that post in in the TECH > WRITEUPS sections, that would be awesome too.

Default too fast to take pictures

I got mine today and installed in just a couple minutes. The tabs on the light switch slowed me down by a few seconds otherwise It could be done in less than a minute!
