    Default How to reset

    Buried my father recently, recieved his 2001 chevy 2 wheel drive auto . I changed the oil and now the change oil light is on in the dash. How can I reset the light?Thanks

    turn the key to the on position, and stomp the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds of turning the key and it should reset.

    There is also one that if you turn the key from off, to run 5 times will reset too, but all the reset tricks for numerous things on the DIC is in the owners manual
