Default got the idea from here.

I was reading this post and thought this sounds great to do. extra lights that dont stand out.
so I went to the truck to see what could be done. well I looked down behind the grill and I saw two mounting points that could be used. one on each side.

So I went and purchased two tractor lights and mounted them in place.

not bad looking, thanks for the idea.

I totaly understand not wanting bulky. I thought a full grill guard would be bulky. I pondered the Bull Bar not caring for them at first but it did grow on me.

09Z-714x4 your new lights look real good behind the grille, It is a very subtle way to add lights to the truck. I am glad that you were happy with that mod, I know I was when I did it to my truck!

I'm waiting to purchase a Bull Bar. Then adding two more larger lights to that. I have had some great comments on the lights in the grill since I've had them installed.

N-fab makes and affordable light bar.. kinda prerunner style allows 3 7inch lights to mount..as for lights i recomend going with HID they cause less strain on your electrical system and dont get as hot as halogens
