Default Two 12 in Alpine Type R in 06 Ext Cab

    Hi -

I'm New to the forum and actualy registered looking for help.. I've pretty much found it impossible to find a "custom" sub enclosure that'll fit two 12 inch alpine TYPE R subs in my truck.. about the biggest anyone sells (sub thump , supercrew sound. etc etc. ) as far as depth wise is 7 inches.. and of course my Type R's clear at 7.7 inches.. anyone out there built any custom box that'll fit the massive magnets?? or anyone that can help?! the system i had in my 98 blazer ( before i sold it for a silverado ) was louder than hell and I dont even want to imagine what its going to sound like in a truck!! Don't really want to buy new, when what I have is still in good condition and I know everything works.. If anybody has anything they can put in there.. let me know!! Thanks!

From the research i have been doing over the past couple of months i would say it's probably not going to happen. There just isn't enough room under the rear seat for 12's that deep. An option would be to put in sub thump's center console woofer box that will hold 1 of your 12's.

Option 2 would be to sell or trade your 12's for something that will fit.

Good luck and let us know!
