    Default battery isolator system????

Good evening guys, I have a 1999 suburban K1500 5.7L. what I looking to do is install a additional battery under the hood with battery isolator system I want to be able to separate the accessories from the starting battery. Have any of you guys done this type of project? was it difficult to do? is there a recommend battery isolator to use and is there any other needed parts I should need? and help here would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I did search and found a great thread by Springthing, but I'm looking to run a isolator set up

You could just install a battery disconnect switch and then YOU would be the isolator. Less $$

If you must, this looked helpful:
