    hey all just an update i ordered my pacesetter long tubes from summit waiting for them to come in.

    2000 silverado 1500 2wd
    black racing stripes
    black bowtie
    k&n cold air intake
    bull bar
    6 pilot off road lights on a Go Rhino! Lightning Sport Bar
    summit race muffler
    with fish tailed exhaust pipes
    P.A system (for when the aliens take over)jk
    MB Gunner6 rims (discount tire brand)
    285 bfg at ko's
    mossy oak seat covers
    3inch rough country lift

    cool!Did you ever consider Hooker Headers?
    How Much did you pay for your headers?
    I'm considering buying those but Hooker's would be my first choice..
    Let me know how those work out for you.

    i bought mine for 304 tax and all. the hooker headers i was looking at were close to 600.

    Im an Edelbrock guy but I've heard Hooker was good nonetheless.

    I would suggest some sort of thermal coating, and if you know a welder have them reinforce the flanges and primaries. Headers are definitely one of the things a person doesn't want to skimp on. The old saying usually proves true - you get what you pay for.
