summary for u :
they are worthless for fuel injected motor since fuel is sprayed after the throttle, only thing you will be doing is actually slowing the air down.
they do have horsepower gains on Carbed engines/vehicles.

I agree. The new stuff doesn't seem to respond to it. I can say that it made a difference on my old 1993 TBI truck though. But like a carb, the fuel went in at the throttle body. Good luck.
