    Default transmission temp help

    IM putting lillar gauges in my truck and i wanted to help is there a transmission temp sensor already there that i could tap into to put a gauge in/ how to do it... thanks

    You will need to add a temperature sender which should be matched to the gauge. I would buy the one that goes in the cooler return line.

    which line should i put in on the top line goin on the radiator or the bottom line? thanks

    The top line is the return line back to the trans and this is the preferred location.

    alright thanks does anyone know normal operating temp for 4l60e not towing anything?

    Since the transmission fluid heat is exchanged with the coolant the temperature is going to be a little warmer than the coolant under normal operating conditions.
