Hey guys, whats up. my dad just bought an 06 AWD Equinox LS and I was wondering if anyone knew the max tire size that can fit the fenderwells w/o any cutting of splash shields. I know it has 28" tires now. also if anyone knows the steel wheel's diameter. thanks for any info

How big did you want to go?
I've driven several of the GM Theta platforms from the Equinox to the Terrain to the Saturn Vue (the Saturn Vue was a bit smaller) and I'm not sure that I ever paid any attention to the wheel clearance. I suppose you could go up an inch to two inches w/o any problem just from looking at the photos agagain.

probably 29" at least but maybe 30"s if I can make sure nothing is touching. might give it a 1" coil spring spacer. have to measure the diameter of the springs though
