    Default Noob wheels questions

I'm thinking about putting on some 24's on my 2007 tahoe 2wd. I have the stock 17's on it right now..

My question is: By putting putting 24's on, would it cause the transmission to go out faster or any issues at all? Due to it being heavier and bigger. Also, would this void the warranty I have if the transmission goes out while I have the 24's on?

Any advise will be great, I tried researching this and can't really find anything. Seems like everyone is avoiding this question.

dont really know if it would harm the transmission par say, worst case scenario, just keep ur stocks and if you have probs put them back on before you take it in to the dealer.

They will cause more trouble for the brakes. Serious increase in the rotating mass and more torque generated by the larger wheels/tires will shorten brake life.

I know you were looking @ 24's but in case you change your mind, I have a new set of 20's with the Bridgestone Alenza's on them. 1000 miles on them off my 08 Suburban.

If your going to go with 24's you will seriously want to consider upgrading the brakes.
