Gibson dual sport exhaust

Ok, so I found a gibson cat back exhaust for my truck on craigslist. It is listed for the 2007 nbs chevy. I have a 2009 chevy, so same trucks just different years. Didn't think there would be any issues, but before I went to get it I double checked the gibson website and from there it looked like it should work becuase all of the exhaust systems part numbers matched up from truck to truck. So the gibson mounts to the stock exhaust system at the flange behind the y-pipe. My truck does not have a flange behind the y-pipe. Kinda bummed cause I wanted to put it on today, but I guess I am going to have to wait till I can get it to a muffler shop considering I dont want to have to guess where to cut and weld the pipe before the muffler. I have done systems before on previous trucks, but they are not muffler shop quality by no means, LOL. Guess I need to try to get in contact with gibson, anyone else had any issues with anything like this? Probably not, since I was trying to cut corners and save some serious cash. Even if it does cost me 100 to have it put on I will still be in the system for half of retail.

I also just checked the gibson website, and the directions that it shows for the 09 are the exact same ones that I have that came with the 07 kit.
