Hey guys, so right now sadly my Sonoma's body mounts are going and I'm thinking about parking her till I can either find a new cab, or figure out what I want to do with her. But in the meantime I've been looking at a few trucks and this one has stolen my heart. Aside from the two tone paintjob which I didn't notice for the first 10 min.. lol
I'm just wondering how bad the fuel consumption is, km/tank(s) etc. Its got a new 650 cfm carb on it so I'm sure that doesn't help. Anyways here's the ad and a picture. Any input you guys could give me, if you think its an alright buy etc would be great! Thanks.

Good looking truck! MPG will be a little hard to figure, but probably in the 10 to 12 mpg range. It probably has two 17 gal tanks, so you can do the math. Good luck!

Aside from the pinkish looking paint job, I'd say that is one awesome truck!!! At $4500, it sounds like a good deal to me. I would just check out the motor and drive it to make sure everything runs well. I'm no expert, but it gets a thumbs up from me! As Bob said, mileage would be hard to figure, but it won't be great.

I think the truck looks good. similar to one my dad had when I was a kid and I am looking for one in that year range. Ours had dual 20 gal tanks so that might be what it has and I agree your looking at the 10-12 mpg range. not sure the conversion to km

Yeah, I'm not overly huge on the two tone, well mainly the second tone. If it was all the purple/burgandy I would be all over it.
The reason I'm looking at a new truck is my current truck (92 sonoma) is getting a little rough. Well the cab is anyways, I belive it needs new body mounts, and drivers floorpan and rocker. I'm starting to wonder if I should just sink even more money into the sonoma.. lol. Advice.
Also yeah I figured it wouldn't be very good on gas haha. But you gotta pay to play right?
