    Default Tire Size

I believe the tires on my 2000 Sierra are P235/75R16.

A buddy has a pair of 235/75R15 tires on 15" rims.

Would they fit? Issues with going to a smaller tire?

I'm not sure if the 15 inch rims will clear your brakes. I know after some year (can't remember which) 16 inch wheels were the minimum to clear the trucks brakes. IF they do clear the brakes, that tire size should be fine on your truck. Maybe even a little bit smaller than stock.

is he talking about fitting the rims to his truck or the smaller tires to his 16" rims?
