    Default 1993 GMC suburban wont turn off???

    Hi all first post here and I hope someone can help me!! Ok my suburban wont power down, I turn the ignition off and the hvac system stays on? meaning the display stays on therefore my battery drains out in about two days. Also I had a new problem that came up and I dont know if this has any thing to do with it but now all the sudden the car turns off on smooth roads I have to put it in neutral and it cranks back up? What do you guys think???

    Bad ignition switch would be my guess. Not the part you stick the key in. It's this thingy at the bottom of the steering column. About $10.00
