OK so I was removing the water vapors from inside he lights and while I was taking the light apart the glass lens fell out and smashed on the ground. So now I am removing them both and ordering some new ones
anyways I got it all apart but cant get the wiring out so any help would be appreciated and if I could get it fast that would be great as I'm loosing light

You have to unbolt the light to get the wiring out, the wires are ran through the bolt. Unplug the H3 bulb first since it just snaps in place, and then there should be a grounding screw to the bulb to keep it grounded so undo that screw. I had a set of lights just like that, here's a picture of what it looks like taken apart.

The only way to avoid cutting that connector off would be to trace the wire all the way to the other end of it, and then cut whatever you have at that end off and then pull it out. On mine I had to cut those connectors off to get the wiring out, but they were shot so it didn't matter. I would just cut and splice new ends on them, hopefully someone else has another idea or two.
the connector for the bulb?

No not the connector for the bulb, the blue plastic connector that the bulb is plugged into. You would also have to cut that ring connector off of the other wire as well, and then you should be able to pull them through. Those are all common connectors to find in a store, it would cost probably $3.00 to put all new stuff on there.
yeah that's what I meant the connector for the bulb
that not a problem to cut them off
does putting new stuff on require soldering at all?

nope no soldering at all, they simply crimp on with a good set of crimpers. you could solder them if you want to, but no it's not necessary.
well thanks for the help then :D
its all taped up and waiting for my new ones then
another question is will any light work with the current wiring and switch / relay that I allready have? the bulbs are 100W

I would say since you have 2- 100 watt bulbs in there already, it is safe to say that the relay is at least 30 amps and if you have a fuse it is probably the same rating. As far as the switch it could go either way, I had a set of KC daylighters which were 100 watts and the switch burned up in about a year. I had special ordered a 30 amp switch from Summit Racing, and that cured that problem. I almost forgot about the wiring, it looks like you already have 16 gauge wiring in there and that should be more than ample. I would say that everything will be perfect for your new setup, the switch is always the weakest point for off-road lights.
Glad I could help, can't wait to see your new lights. Make sure to post your pics up when finished!![]()
