    Default 1999 chevy tahoe coolant leak

    on my 99 tahoe i have a coolant leak at the bottom of the time cover i replace the water pump and the upper and lower hose and it still leaks it leaks when it cold and not when its hot any help

    Welcome.
    When the truck is warmed up, look for coolant at the front of the intake gasket. The Vortecs of the era are famous for it. I think FelPro is the proper gasket kit to replace it with.

    find out it is the intake but can it be the upper or lower intake

    Doesnt matter which one it is, you are ripping it apart anyway so replace them both.
