Default Speakers for my '91: 4x6's, 4"-inchers in 4x6 adapters, or 4" plates?

Ok guys, my new 1991 Silverado is in serious need of an audio upgrade (it has the stock speakers and stereo deck lol). Anyway, I know you can buy either 4x6" speakers, 4" speakers with adapters, or 4" component plates with seperate tweeters.

I want to stick with Boston Acoustics, but I just don't know what size. I've heard many great reviews about them from many different sites and stores, more than any other brand of speaker. I want a good quality speaker, because if I'm going to take the effort to tear into the rear pillars to take out the old speakers and put new speakers in, I want nice speakers that have good sound and reliability, so I won't have to tear into the rear towers again for as long of time as possible.

Here's the speakers I'm looking into:
    4" plates:

I know I'm not going to get a lot of bass or anything, but a little but would be nice. Mostly, I'm looking midrange and treble.

    Your thoughts??
