Default Where is the drain on a 99 ac setup.

Hi, I am getting water in the heater motor and carpet after a rain. I am looking for the drain for the cowl as I am sure it is leaking into the duct work and getting to the heater motor. I have looked for the drain and can't locate it. This is on a 99 crew cab pickup.

Pour a bucket of water in there and look for the drain. It's under the tunnel. If it's plugged up the cowl will fill up with water. If it's clear you will see the water coming out the drain.

Mine is behind the windshield washer reservoir. It looks like an angled sparkplug boot sticking out of the firewall on the passenger side.
