I just replaced intake gaskets hoses and thermostat. The truck hits 195 at idel. When I take off it cools to below 180 and stays there??? can i expect troubel? why wont it hold the temp stable?

Less air is flowing through the radiator at idle. When the truck is moving, the increased airflow and the water is circulating faster so it drops the temp. The temp will vary by engine speed, load and ambient air temperature. If you are pulling a trailer up a steep grade, you will run hotter. If it is 30 degrees outside the temp will run cooler than if it is 115 deg.
Your truck seems to be running with its temp range so I wouldn't worry.![]()
