Besides supposedly having an extra long change interval, does Dexcool do anything else special that these engines require? I'd like to flush all the "Deathcool" out and replace with reg green coolant if possible. I don't care about long change intervals since I always end up replacing something on my vehicles that requires me to drain the coolant at some point. Never had the same coolant in my vehicles for more than year.
I've seen enough examples of disintegrating gaskets in Dexcool filled engines that I want this stuff OUT.

No nothing else special. Make sure you drain your block on both sides to get it all out or remove your thermostat and flush it until all the old Dex is gone.
