In Hastings, Michigan, it was at 3.189 last night. Had been up to 3.259 last week. Wall Street is really making a mess of pricing of fuels. Wait for the summer pricing. Not going to be a pretty sight, those price signs at the gas pumps.

OMG!! You coastal guys pay a ton for gas, relatively speaking. In Denver, we're up to about $3.15...and it just keeps climbing.

HATE these prices! I'm a police officer in my town and every store has been pay before you pump , but still had to do a report last week for an $80 drive off! The guy gave the clerk a card of some sort that didn't even have a name on it , told her that it wouldn't scan at the pump , she cut it on - he filled up and hauled butt! , leaving her the fake card. Whats funny is the security camera shows her look out at him leaving and instead of getting the tag number , she starts scanning the fake card 5-6 times!

I am amazed at how much it costs to fill up a tank ($80 is a lot!). And it sounds like you patrol in a pretty trusting town, since that lady's first reaction was to scan the card vs thinking she was getting taken.
