    Default New Member in FLA

    New member here and very proud owner of a 08 Silverado Crew 1500 LT2. Found a really good deal on the truck and retired a 2002 chevy tahoe. Real happy with my purchase and my new baby. Heres a pic from my camera phone.

    I would like to upgrade to some HID lights. I hear hella is a very good brand. does anyone know what the equvilant K's would be do that of stock BMW/Benz/infinit would be

    Hey Chris, I put a 35 watt HID kit in my truck with 5k burn temp and they work awesome. They are the mix between the whitest burn temp and the lightest blue temp. If you want strict white, go with 4300k. But the 5000k work great and they don't look blue from a distance just when they first turn on and they all run around $150 on ebay.
