    Default re-introduction

hey guys. i havent been on this site in quite some time. so i figured i would re-introduce myself and all the updates to my camaro.

    my name is eric. i had a bone stock 98 ls1 z28 6 speed.

i had an issue this past june where i blew up the ls1 that was in my car (only had 13k miles on it) after a little research and time spent looking for a new engine i decided to make the jump to go bigger.

i jumped from the 5.7 ls1 to the nice 6.0L LQ9. going from basically stock. (lm2 cb and slp lid) to now having a nice little street machine. i ended up doing the swap at my house by myself with a little help when needed. the motor was was actually very easy to do. right now the car is running great and ran even better after i got my new tune on it.

What can I say.................That is the coolest Camaro I have seen in a while. I work with a guy who has a set of those Kook's headers and he loves them, and I am pretty sure that's where you get a lot of that nice sound from. Now I know the LS1 is not really known to be a reliable motor unlike the LS2, but what in the hell happened to make it go bad in 13,000 miles? Also where did you buy the new 6.0 at, that looked like a complete turn key motor from the pictures. I have been looking for a new motor for my S-10, and I am trying to find one like you got but I have to have all of the emissions crap because of Ohio emissions testing. I was looking at the 6.0 or the 6.2 as well, that is just a beastly motor period.
