    Default Spark control module location?

Can someone tell me where the Spark control module is located on a 1985 Chevy C10 P/U with a 305 V8? Thanks!!

The control module is inside the distributor. Looks like this:

The 4.3L is behind the distributor on the air pipe.
The 5.0L is on the brake pedal bracket according to Mitchell.

Check the power and ground to the spark control module while it won't start. If you suspect a bad connection you can jump power or ground or both to the module as a test.
