2 speed Taurus fan swap
Has anyone had any actual experience doing this fan swap? I know there is a post about one done on a motor home but I'd like to know if anyone has done it on an 88-90 R1500 and if they found it to be beneficial or what problems they encountered with the installation.
I've gathered some information but 1st hand knowledge trumps it all. It is recommended that a 100 amp alternator be installed to handle the momentary surge in demand when hi speed kicks in but I sometimes haul a 7.5x20 ft. trailer; will this be enough to satisfy all needs?
1989 R1500 Silverado Suburban

Cuz....I like to move it, move it....
