Looking for a 1990's Miata for an engine swap

I dont know how loing GM continued this but on mine the factory ones are injected with plastic tohold them in place and it MUST be melted out with a torch, a heat gun wont get hot enough. I took my driveshaft to my mechanic and they melted it for me for no charge and the u-joint was like $25. Had I known about the plastic injection it would have been a 30 min job. My chilton manual said nothing about the plastic so check into that first for you truck.

as long as you have a torch its no problem, you will be surprised by how much actually comes out. then the new ones that go in have snap ring retainers and can be greased at anytime as they have zurks
