PS: Aim for the head so you dont bruise the meat.

Wouldn't "bruising" the meat make it a little more tender? like using one of those tenderizing hammers on chicken or beef? lol

I apologize for the harsh comment about the damage, but it's 100% true. The thing I don't like on these newer vehicles is the stamped out control arms, when they used to be solid and reliable. I can say from first hand experience that they don't make the cars and trucks like they used to, it would make you sick to see what I see every day. Hopefully it all works out okay, and i agree about the brush guard as well.

I'm well aware of the degree to which newer vehicles are made... but i would have rather you lied to me and say nothing else is wrong lol...at least for peace of mind.. brush guards aren't my style... a bull bar maybe...but not a full brushguard..

Sorry to hear about the bad luck but hey you could always make a good situation out of a bad one...new wheels? Even picking up some mint condition used rims off craigslist wouldn't be too expensive, I got my 20's for around $275 a piece and that was brand new from a legitimate retail shop. Just saying it couldn't hurt to look around and see what your options are. But at least you hit the rock, I'm sure the deer would have had a much worse effect on your truck. Good luck!

New Rim from chevy = $700, New Tire, balance, alignement = $150 (old one was covered under road hazzard) All that's left to be fixed is the scratches on the front right corner of the bumper... NOW... I was thinking of getting that Bedliner aerosol spray can.... and do a layer or two on the lower corner bumpers covering just about 1/2 inch above the fog lights and only spraying on the painted area.... whats anyone think about this... or should I just leave it and have it fixed with the proper paint color?
