    Default New side exit exhaust!

check it out and rate it please. Mind you, that this is a 2003 4.8L v8 :D sounds meaner than any truck I've heard.

I was just going to reply to your other thread and tell you to upload it on youtube, but it seems that you have figured it out. Well out of 5 possible stars I give it a 5, that sounds nicer than my old 5.3 I had duals on. That's hard to believe that it's only a single side exit exhaust, so what's the trick? No cats, straight through mufflers, long tube headers??? What is your secret to a great sounding truck?

I ran a 3 inch pipe all the way from the headers to the exit. And there was only one way to route it too, and 3 inches is the most you can fit in some places. No Cats, and no muffler :D I love it, believe it or not, it has less drone at 60 mph than a glass pack turndown before the rear axle did. That's what I had before... I will post some more pics up of my truck soon and hopefully more videos. Thanks!

Damn dude that's sick!!! I'd love to have something like that on my truck but like dsfloyd said, no way that'd fly over here on the west coast. They'd bust you for it in a heartbeat.

Yeah, I got it done at meineke believe it or not. I know a guy that works up there, but there is only one way to route it, I will have pictures of it later this week when I wrap my headers and such. It cost me $175 and I cut the hole myself. I HIGHLY recommend it if you get it. I love bouncing the sound off buildings
