Default Driving from Dallas to Jackson, MS

Has anyone done this trip before? I did it once, but we drove all the way to the east coast (Georgia and Florida) so I didn't even notice Jackon when I drove through it.

Anyhow, mostly I'm concerned with stops on the way. Like every 90 minutes or so we'll probably stop. Any good places for rest areas, or places to avoid?

I've never started in dallas with the idea to drive across to Jackon, MS. However, I have made that drive before. From what I remember it like like 5 hours between the outside suburbs of Dallas to Jackson. A pretty good drive.

Hey, that's a good drive. To the edge of Dallas isn't all that bad of a drive. You can make it in 4 1/2 hours if you don't stop a lot and if you push the speed limit like 5 over the whole way.
