What Rears?
Trying to determine which rears I have in my 2000 Z71 Silverado. I know I have the G80 in the rear. Considering going deeper with the gearing and want to order the right R&P's. Appreciate any help.
It's never really finished...and faster is always better.

Check your RPO code in the glovebox. GT5 is a 4:10 and GT4 is a 3:73.

More interested in the style or type of rears in my truck. I'll have a look at the RPO codes but I'm trying to determine if I have the 8.5 ring gear rear, etc.. I want to order new ring and pinions but don't know what my rears are referred to as.

Looks good! You have a 10 bolt 8.5" rear end in that truck and if it says G 80 in the RPO codes it will have an Eaton Gov-Lok Posi in there.
