Running Boards

I have a 02 Silverado single cab long bed. A friend of mine recently took his Westin running boards off of his 02 Silverado, but its an extended cab. He gave me the boards, and told me that they should mount to my truck without trouble, but I can't figure out how. I'm starting to think the boards aren't compatible with my truck. Anyone know about this?

Well I popped over to the realtruck site and it looks like the boards are longer and there is a different mounting kit. Sell those and and buy the set that fits your truck. Should be able to get $150 - $200 or more if they are in good shape.
