fuel pump change out?
My father in law has a '98 s10 and it needs a fuel pump. We are going to attempt the job ourselves. I have changed one out on a dakota before but it was a long time ago. Is there any more to it than just to drop the tank and a few screws and in goes the new one? Any tips or how to's would be greatly appreciated. You know the kind of things that you really dont know you need until you get there and no one has thought to tell you that you will need to complete the job. I dont think we really want to remove the truck bed due to shoulder injuries.

you can unbolt the bed and lift one side to get to lock ring on tank little easier than dropping tank only 6 bolts and the screws around filler
