    Cool Fuel tank switching problem

    i have an 1986 chevy 1500 silverado ,83000 orginal miles 305 v8 with auto everything. i just bought the truck about a year ago and the fuel tanks switched form side to side just fine. about 4 months ago i had filled up boths tanks and when i went to switch to the right side tank it would not switch so i played with the swict and it finaly switched the next time i tryed it did the same thing and now it wont switch at all. i have already tryed the switch on the dash with no luck. ANY HELP would be great!!!

    If its an electrical switch then make sure power is being sent from the switch to whereever it goes. I the power goes then you are now to the actual split for the tanks. I take it you replaced the switch. But start checking for electricity.
