    Default Quarter window gasket...

seal, rubber, surround, whatever it's called.

I'm looking for the quarter window gasket for my '85 G30. I haven't had any luck. Even the glass place said they can get the glass, but can't confirm if the seal comes with it.

Has anyone found a source for stuff like this?

    Thanks,

Try "LMC" or J.C. Wittney would be my suggestions. Good luck!

    Thanks, Bob.
I've already checked both of them and no luck. JCW has just about all of the other weatherstripping, but not the gaskets.

tried LKQ? The better dismantlers or U-Pull-IT places have a computer inventory of vehicles. If you know what years match yours, then you should be able locate a vehicle fairly quickly.

Thanks for the info, I haven't tried the part finders, yet.
These gaskets have four metal braces in them, and have a little rust. The one other van I've found was in a lot worse shape than mine.

If I were smart, I wouldn't even mess with them. Of course, my OCD tells me that when I finally get to paint I'll want to pull them out.

    sigh...

I saw an '86 in a yard the other day. The guy is pulling the motor and tranny for another project, so I'm first on the list for parts before it goes to the crusher - and it has really good gaskets
