    Thanks for the comments! Prep was very time consuming. Taping it was a pain, but sanding it to get ready for paint was even worse. I know the final result pic sucked so here are a couple more from a little further away.

    Not only are the blacked out badges nice, but your whole truck is frikkin' sweet. VERY nice truck!!!

    That really does look sharp, now after I have seen it from far away it looks even better. Do you still have that big bowtie on that tail gate, if so that would be cool if you did that the same way you did the lettering.

    Thanks! I blacked out the front and rear bowties. Not sure what I am going to do with the chrome outline on the rear bowtie yet though. I did remove the "Silverado" from the tailgate. Here is a pic.

    Nice... If you don't like the chrome on the bowtie, I'd go with a good contrasting color... Like a red or blue... But that's just me...
