    well im on crutchfield.com right now and im looking at 149.99 kenwood head unit. and i cant decide what kind of speakers i want. and the sub will be not included in the 400.

    Just remember: you get what you pay for. Even with Pioneer and Kenwood. They are 149.00 for a reason.

    It depends on what you want. Going to run a sub? How about Nav? 4 speakers? Steering wheel controls? Onstar? XM or Sirius? DVD/TV/Video?

    All that is inherent in the price.

    Right now the top of the line Pioneer and Kenwood units that do that are around $1200 without speakers, wires, amps, or interface kits.

    im going to run a sub eventually. no nav. yes 4 speakers. no steering/onstar/xm/dvd.

    Check out Infinity also. I have the 6020.cs from their reference line and they sound extremely good.

    i didnt really wanna go with the double din. but it does look good.

    The double din is a really nice install that looks very neat. But, the single din gives you a nice compartment to store stuff in.
