Default It sure is quiet here...Update on TB.

We've had our TB for 5 weeks now and have almost 1700 miles. We are taking it to Nigara Falls next weekend, our first road trip.

Through mostly country road driving, we are averaging 16-16.5 mpg. :(
Hopefully we'll see 19-20 on the trip.

We find that my wife gets better gas mileage than I do. :? I wonder why.

I'm curious to see what kind of gas mileage you get on your trip.

I'm back. After almost 900 miles, we averaged 18.5 mpg. This was a mix of HWY with some stop & go. The HWY miles were through some hills/mountains (depending on where you live) and some flat areas. The average speed was between 65-73 mph.
Overall, the TB was great on this kind of trip. Great ride and very comfortable. My wife slept 3+ hrs on the way home Sunday and I listened to ESPN Radio (football pre-game).

We also hit 3k miles already. oh well.

Hey, they're born to be used! Nice road trip. Decent gas MPG for what you drove and how fast as well.
