    Default Back with pictures!

I already introduced myself to you guys. Thanks again for the warm greeting! I finally got some pictures of my truck taken this weekend. Let me know what you think!

A 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500. 4.8L V-8, auto, 4x4, manual transfer case. It's got 188K on it but it's all highway. Interior is pretty much flawless and the body has no rust with the exception of a tiny bit on the bottoms os the rockers.

I've already put bed rail guards on it. I also had to replace the surround for the tailgate latch, the 3rd door handle, and the tailgate spoiler, and new grille inserts. I also had to replace the passenger door mirror, but that's because I broke it coming out the garage for the first time. D'oh! It still needs a fuel level sensor and new grille, it's broken on the drivers side.

The best part is, I sold my Jetta for $10K, which is about a grand over KBB, and picked this up for $6K, which is about a grand under KBB!

I'm still big on efficiency even though I'm driving a gas guzzling truck, but I plan to try getting 20+ on th highway with it. It's already getting around 19, some minor things should get it there. It take a bit more effort to drive it, but it's way more comfortable than the Jetta ever was. And I'll never get a speeding ticket in it. I'm sure if I thought about going 75 I could watch the gas gauge literally drop! I also don't plan on racing it, however I do see it pulling whatever I buy for racing. And no, sadly those aren't my deer. I had 0 luck on that front this weekend.

Nice looking ride. Might want to rinse the bed out though, previous owner seems to have left some debris back there.

Now go get a little mud on the tires!
