i have a 92 1500. i am looking for a performance intake, but the air cleaner that i have has 2 bolts holding it on instead just 1. is this normal? and does anyone know how i can fix this without having to replace the entire throttlebody?

Welcome to the site! The only thing I can tell you is that it is normal that you have 2 bolts holding your air cleaner, I had a 94 Suburban 1500 with the same set up.

I had a '94 Sierra that I put a Volant intake on. Basically it comes with an adapter to convert the 2 bolt into 1, here's a link to stylin' concepts.
