    Default Freezing Drizzle?

I got the weather report for the city I live in ... Arlington, Texas (home of the Arlington GM plant) ...

    31F and Freezing Drizzle!

I have never seen "Freezing Drizzle" on a weather report before! lol. It's freezing rain and it's a cold sucker out there. I'm going to take the Trailblazer into work today, it's got good all-season Goodyears on it, so I sould be good to go.

Of course, my little Cavalier does good in the snow/ice too, not much power, but I have new Cooper rubber on there and the FWD digs in pretty well and gets me where I need to go.

    Anyone else getting bad weather?

Be careful, we know you can handle icy conditions, but can your fellow Texans?

The last year that I lived in the Northwest, it snowed over 100 FEET on Crystal Mountain, near Rainer. I think I can handle 1/4" of ice. LOL!

    rain here

I really wish it would just get cold and snow.

Seems funny here in Maine to be getting rain in December.

Keep it between the diches Steve.

Isn't that odd that we in the North East haven't gotten any snow, and yet the rest of the country is getting it, including Texas? What is this world coming too? (I'm scared) :(

We get a lot of that up here. I love to go up into the mountains and go skiing, but freezing rain (or drizzle) is bad news to drive on.

    No doubt about that.

I was actually up in your neck 'o the woods in the end of August. When we arrived everyone was talking about the cement worker's union on strike, and when we got back from our cruise in the first week of Sept, I saw all the cement trucks rolling. Never did hear anymore about it.

Seattle is a very nice place. Loved the view from the space needle. Of course I say this as though you are responsible....lol Or are you?

I grew up there, but it rains WAYYYYY too much for me. That's why I moved to a town with 300 days of sunshine per year.

The Space needle has been there since the 1960's. Before my time. They used to just have a guardrail, until some maintenance worker took a header off of it in the mid 90's and landed on the top of one of the elevators. He got down, but broke some bones and what not, YIKES!
