    Well, got the sat radio installed. Mounted it between the lighter sockets on the front of the dash. Looks nice and works well.

    panvise makes a bracket that is vehicle specific that my shop uses. no cutting no drilling, uses factory mounting brackets and doesnt cover any controls.
    you can find them on cellularmount.com...or probably crutchfiled.

    That is a ScanGuage II unit. Lets me monitor all kinds of data from the truck plus trip computers. Hooks directly into the OBD port. I got it to monitor trans temp, but the trip stuff is cool (like distance to empty). I currently display four gauges while I drive; DTE, trans temp, MPG, and HORSEPOWER! :D

    If you only needed the trans temp, you could have just bought a guage cluster that has the trans temp guage... It's plug and play... But the other data that the ScanGuage gives you is nice too... LOL

    Yea I kicked that around for awhile and decided that I want the other stuff as well.


    I make a few long distance (2000 mile +) trips a year and wanted the trip computer stuff.
