Default Towing capacity with 1994 Suburban

    Hi

Just bought a 1994 Suburban 2500 with the 5.7 engine I believe. Only has 85,000 original miles on it. I want to get a 21 foot travel trailer that weighs 4300 lbs empty. Can I realistically pull this thing a long ways in the Rocky Mountains? What do you think? Is there anything I need to do to the Suburban? Sort of a towing newbie. thanks

    Mike

Suburbans can tow alot, you just need to really make sure your reciever/hitch can handle what you have to tow. Also make sure your brakes are in top notch shape before towing through the Mtns.
