    Default Stationed in the UK

Hey whats up everybody! My name is Dorian and I am a SSgt vehicle mechanic stationed in the UK. I've been here for three years and I'm heading back to the states in May to PCS to my next duty station. I am a GM and Jeep man with the occasional Nissan sitting in the driveway. Since I've been in the UK I haven't had the chance to really enjoy my trucks unless I go home on leave. This past May I picked up my second Chevy a 1997 Z71. I've got that one tricked out with radio and video equipment (CB, scanner, UHF radio, rear back up cam, audio and video recording system activated by strobe lights after 6 seconds, navigation, etc) If you are wondering I am a Vol Firefighter so I have lights on my truck and the video is for safety and liability reasons so I can defend myself against liars. Tell you guys more, if you have mechanical questions please feel free to PM me.

What's the video setup consist of? It's always on the top of everyone's mind after a wreck or an unfair ticket that they wished they had a video system...

I have two camera's in the rear, one under the bumper for backing up, a widespread behind the cab sitting on top of the toolbox for almost a 180 degree field of view. There is a camera sitting under the rear view, they all have a microphone set up and I can select which camera I want to view off my touch screen deck. I have a 250gb hard drive that is removable and they all record onto the HDD. I picked up all the cameras at Best Buy. Once I return to the states I can take some pictures and broadcast them. The total cost of the setup was about $1100 and it was worth it. I don't get pulled over but if I did I would let the cop know and I don't think he would like it too much either.
