    i jump in and out right now with it lifted 9" total so f*$k it ill keep jumpin lol
    1997 K1500 Silverado 4X4. Black Exterior, grey/black interior. 35X12.50X15 wheels and rubber, ProComp 6inch lift 6 shocks in the front 2 in the rear, 3 inch body lift, a few cosmetic mods. Nothing major. Custom leather interior, and stereo upgrade is the future mods.

    I'll say maybe for this. I can see it being useful, but I wouldnt pay extra for it.

    haha, unless your handicapped, elderly, or a girl (no offense ladies ) a step is rediculous, and i can't see it standing up to the test of time anyways, just something else to break.

    all a "man step" does for a man of my stature is cause
    ground clearance issues and looks like i dont know how to work,
    in fact no offense to anyone but i personally think running boards make our
    trucks look like pavement princesses

    I'm glad to this topic came up again.

    We were just at Ford Carlisle and were able to see and use Fordx step up tail gate.

    if you need a sissy little step to get in and out of your bed you shouldn't own a truck. Buy a beetle, or a Prius or something......maybe not a prius though, the gas pedal will probably get stuck and kill you.

    The source of the problem is height so lets do something about it directly... Air ride suspension! Lower the rig down when you need to load something.
