Colorado with a bed cap anyone?

Bot a Leer cap from Craigs....Cheap..$300. Need to get it painted. Want to orderthe tailgate cap. Any reccomendations? Also, does anyone recommend rail caps? top protect the side rails and front of the bed?

I'm not sure why , but it takes this website almost a week to tell you that someone replied to the post. Anyway, You can pick up a cheap tailgate cap at jc Whitney and it works fine. The cap door covers over it so you don't see it. The colorado tailgate rail curves or tapers slighty, so I would recomend the costum fit cap that costs around 30 dollars. It fits real nice. As far as side rails, if you cover them it will show as a black line on the side of your truck. I never remove my cap so I don't worry about it scratching them. If I was going to be taking the cap on and off all time I would probably cover the side rails too. Good luck with your new cap.

If you're talking about the email that you get, that goes out according to your settings when you subscribe to a thread, and that can be changed around to notify you faster for a follow-up post to your thread if you want. Look in the settings at the top right of the screen for more infor, or read in the FAQs.

There she is. Got her detailed, the paint on the cap matches to a tee. The flake matches perfectly, I was concerned that the flake consistency would not match the factory paint, but my buddy did a pretty awesome job in matching it. What do you all think?
