Rim width Q's
Does anyone think a 285/65/18 (32.5" by 11.5") is to small of a width to put on a 10" rim?

It's been a while, but, if memory serves, most tire manufacturers "approve" a rim width between 65 and 90% of the tire width. 10/11.5 is about 87%, so it should be just fine (if anything, 10 inches is getting a little wide for those tires).
BTW, if you look up the tire specs on the internet (either from the manufacturer's web-page or a retailer like tirerack), one of those columns is "approved rim widths"'98 K1500 Suburban LS 5.7 L 4L60E NV246 ARB
