I have some decent advice for ya.....
I would recommend narrowing it down to 3-4 picks and reading the tires reviews on tirerack and offroaders.com.
Both sites have reviews for just about every tire. Just disregard the lone wack job that has a chip on his shoulders and gives an otherwise good tire a poor review.
Also keep in mind most tires are going to work just fine on 90% of vehicles but there is always that certain vehicle that a tire may not work well on.
I found these sites helpful for me picking out tires.
    Good Luck.

I use the Terra Grapplers. I get good traction in every cindition (haven't tried snow yet). They resonate at 30 MPH but not too bad.

I am currently running the Kumho Road Venture ATs. I am very happy with these so far as well. And a cheap tire as well.

I have heard that those are very good off-road tires. A little road noise, but not horrible
